Sign Up

  1. Install app by clicking one of the button at the bottom of this screen.
  2. Open the app and touch on “Sign up” at the Login screen.
  3. Fill in your name,
  4. Then the user name that you choose.  No spaces, eight to 10 characters.  Write it down so you don’t forget.
  5. Fill in the password WRITE IT DOWN; IF YOU LOSE YOUR PASSWORD IT CANNOT BE RETRIEVED.  Must be at least eight characters.
  6. Repeat the password to check.
  7. Enter your cell phone number, your driver may need to contact you for instructions.
  8. Enter a valid email.  Receipts for your trips will be emailed to you.
  9. Touch on the person icon to include your picture.  This helps the driver find you and prevents someone else from getting your ride.
    1. hold the phone horizontal or landscape, and center the screen on your nose and fill the screen with your face from top of your head to shoulders.
  10. Touch on “Register”
  11. You are now taken to the map screen as a passenger.

Register your company on Oye.One

1. On a computer browser go to https://web.oye.support/

2 If your company is not registered yet, click on “Sign Up Here”

3. Enter the requested information. PASSWORDS CANNOT BE RETRIEVED IN THIS SECURE SYSTEM.  WRITE IT DOWN AND KEEP IT IN A SAFE PLACE.

Business License Number is normally for your Passenger Transportation License or similar in your area.

Your company will need to be authorized before it can be operated.  The usual turn around time to authorize is two business days, but we strive to have it done the same day.  Thank you.

 

My Profile

Check or edit the company information.  This information is not available to drivers.

Drivers

This section helps you to manage your drivers.

The “Freeze” section lets you authorize drivers or Freeze them out of your system.  Under “Freeze” if it says “yes” that driver cannot operate as part of your business.

“New Driver” will let you register new drivers so that they do not have to on their phone.  You should have a suitable picture of the driver and their license before starting.

Fill in the appropriate blanks, add the pictures and “save”. REMEMBER TO WRITE DOWN AND SAVE THE USER NAME AND PASSWORD BECAUSE THEY CANNOT BE RETRIEVED IF LOST.

 

 

Cars

All the cars in your fleet need to be registered here.

“Add New Car” when you wish to add a car to your group.

For existing cars, click on the car, then ‘edit’ to manage that car.

  1. Car image is important, it allows the potential customer to see what kind of car they are ordering and so they can recognize the car when it arrives.
  2. License plate number is required in some areas and gives the customer one more way to recognize the correct car.
  3. The VIN is not a required data item, but may be required by regulators.
  4. Fill in the Make, Model, Year and Colour.
  5. Distance Unit; you can select Kilometres or Miles depending on your area.
  6. Set your Currency.
  7. In speed: this is how fast above the speed limit that you allow your drivers to travel before you are sent an email; you can select either percentage or speed.
    1. If you select percentage  and set the number to 10, then if the driver drove over 10% over the posted speed limit, you will get an email with details of time, speed and location.
    2. If you select the other unit, then if you entered 10, you would get an email every time the driver exceeded 10 above the posted limit.
  8. Rounding Factor:  This will round the displayed charge to the amount you set here.  If you set the rounding factor to 1, then a $5.74 charge will be rounded to $6.00.  If you set it to 0.1, the fare will show $5.70.

Sign Up

  12. NOW, touch on the menu (top left corner, three horizontal lines)
  13. Locate the small triangle and touch it
    1. you will be presented with the options of “Passenger/Driver”, select driver
    2. you will then be presented with “Select a Company”.  Select ‘yes’
  14. Select your company from the scrolling list.
  15. At this time you need to add additional information relating to being a driver.
    1. “Emergency contact number” this number will receive a text from you when you long touch on the map screen.  The text will give your location and ask the receiver to call you or the police.
    2. License Image: this image is required in some jurisdictions.  Follow the prompts.
  16. Sync data: you can chose to use WiFi only.
  17. Press back button to return to the map screen.
  18. Contact the company you are driving with/for to activate your account.

Sign In

Signing in at the purple Login screen:

1 enter your user name and password and select ‘sign in’

2 select yes when asked to select a car (if you have not been approved by your company, you will not be able to select a car or continue).

3 select the car you will be driving from the list

4 on the Pre-trip Check screen, change the current odometre reading as necessary, then touch the boxes for Car registration, etc., and to declare that vehicle is safe to drive – then select “OK”

at the map screen: you’re ready to go!

 

On The Map Screen

On the map screen in driver mode you will see the following features:

menu (three horizontal lines in upper left corner)

refresh button (two curved arrows forming an open circle)

flag icon (human being hailing a ride) top of screen

share button (three dots connected by lines)

enter destination field (typing an address here will give you directions on the map to assist you getting to your pickup point)

on map itself in upper right corner, the speed indicator;  shows your approximate speed.

lower on the screen, the location button; touch to centre the screen at your location.

you can make the map screen zoom in or out by placing two fingers on the screen and moving them together or apart, or you can move the map around by  placing one finger on the screen and moving in the direction desired.

Start a trip with the flag icon

When you get dispatched to a trip, touch the flag icon and your metre appears on the bottom: a green ‘go’ button and a red ‘stop’ button. Leave this on as you drive to your pick-up.  When your trip with the customer begins, press the green ‘go’ button and the metre begins recording. When you arrive at the destination, press the red ‘pause’ button. [Note that LRN starts automatically with a fare announcer, designed to assist customers whose vision impairment may prevent them from seeing metre. You may turn this function off or on again by going to the menu and touching ‘fare announcer’, which will move the toggle.

When a potential passenger flags you electronically through LRN, you will receive a ‘beep’

Multiple Destinations

When you have multiple destinations for multiple riders, you can take advantage of the “pause” button, the two vertical lines.  When you arrive at the first destination you may pause the ride, or you may keep the meter running.  When the passenger exits, you then press the ‘go’ button to continue the trip.

 

End of trip

At end of trip after pressing ‘pause’ button:

The green ‘go’ button is available to continue the trip if necessary. If the trip is done, press the ‘$’ button, and the Cash Payment screen appears. If the amount shown in the Fare field is correct, press OK. You will be returned to the map screen and you’re ready for the next trip. If the amount shown in the Fare field needs to be adjusted, touch the field and use the keypad which pops up to correct the amount. When amount is correct, press ok.

Change companies you work for

  • Sign in as a driver
  • If you have a car associated with your account, delete that car
  • Touch on menu => settings => companies
  • Select your new company

View/Change car

  • Log in as driver
  • Touch on ‘menu’
  • Touch on ‘View/Change Car’
  • If you are returned to the map screen, then you do not have a car association

Sign out, end of shift

To sign out, press the menu in the upper left corner and select ‘Signout’. Enter the current odometre reading and press ok.
